Video Menu Design

I worked on this video clip years ago for one of my all time classic Bill Murray movies “Meatballs”. For many years I designed and produced videos for Sony and MGM that introducing the viewer to the menus selection on DVD movie titles. It was a fun and exciting gig especially when I’d come across a movie that I enjoyed as a kid. The background wall and shelf are made up of objects I screen grabbed from the actual movie (radio and helmet bottom left), photos I personally took (top left jacket, clipboard, rags in the bottom right) and clip art (back wall, whistle, clock, no trespassing sign). All footage in the postcard was the original movie trailer clip but slightly edited down. All the graffiti on the wall was created by yours truly. And the microphone was a rented prop with hand that comes up from the bottom shot using a green screen. I had a great time conceptualize, designing and producing this project and proud to be affiliated with such a classic movie like “Meatballs”.
